List of Countries Reopened for Quarantine-Free Travel

Many countries are in lockdown and have travel restrictions, but other countries have reopened for international travel for tourists. Here is the list of countries you can travel to.



Travelers going to Egypt must have a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure and also complete a traveler health form with valid health insurance.



All international travelers have been permitted to travel to Seychelles since March 25, except for arrivals from South Africa. A visitor must present a negative PCR test that was taken 72 hours before departure and a complete health declaration form before traveling, it is permitted under the new guidelines by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism. Seychelles is quarantine-free however travelers will required to follow the public health measures due to pandemic.



Since July 2020, Maldives is one of the first destinations that open for international travelers. Travelers must provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test within 96 hours and a health declaration form 24 hours before departure.

Austria (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


From July 1, travelers from UAE are welcome to visit Austria without any quarantine requirements. It applies also to unvaccinated children aged 18 below. Traveler with a complete dose of any WHO-recognised or EMA-approved vaccine, which are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Johnson & Johnson, and Sinovac.

Switzerland (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


From June 28, tourists from GCC that are fully vaccinated will be able to enter Switzerland without any quarantine and a negative covid-19 test. They must prove that they received a full dose of WHO-recognised or EMA-approved vaccines, which is at least 14 days before their travel. Before traveling to Switzerland, travelers need to fill out an entry form from the Federal Office of Public Health to arrange their itinerary while they are in Switzerland. After completing the form, travelers will receive a QR Code which they will present when checking in for their flight.

Germany (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


From June 25, travelers that are vaccinated can travel to Germany without any quarantine. For the traveler that has a plan to visit Germany, they should complete a Digital Registration Form, filling out their vaccination details and printed copy of the form for boarding. Children that are not yet allowed for vaccination must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test.



From June 2, UAE residents can travel to Italy without undergoing quarantine since they have established a travel bubble between them. Passengers must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours and also complete the Digital Passenger Locator Form after completion you will receive a QR Code that travelers must present.

France (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


From June 9, France reopened for international travel, allowing vaccinated visitors from any other countries to visit. Since France implemented the Travel Traffic Light System, travelers from the green list can enter the country without any restrictions. Non-vaccinated travelers from the green list countries will need to provide a PCR or antigen test taken 72 hours before their arrival to France.



From June 1, All travelers going to Malta are only required to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken 72 hours and must also fill up a Passenger Locator Form.



Vaccinated travelers need only to provide proof that they have been fully vaccinated and a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure. Travelers must complete a passenger locator form before their departure.



Armenia is now accepting international travelers to enter their country that can present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival at the airport. Travelers who have been exposed to any positive Covid-19 person will be required quarantine for 14 days.



From February 1, citizens of all countries can now travel to Georgia. Travel by air from any country must present documents of two doses of any Covid-19 vaccination at the checkpoints of Georgia.



Travelers who have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before their arrival and who recovered from coronavirus infection can now enter Croatia. Those who can provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test result within 48 hours before their arrival are also welcome.



From April 1, Travelers from green list countries are not required to provide any proof of negative Covid-19 test, travelers from orange countries must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours, and arrivals from red countries which includes UAE are asked to provide a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours before their flight, and required to have a second test on Cyprus within their arrival at their own expense. All travelers are required to complete Cyprus Flight Pass 24 hours before their flight.



After a rise in cases, new travel restrictions came into effect on March 10. Like its Croatian neighbor, Montenegro is one of a small number of countries in Europe that’s opened its borders for international arrivals. Travelers going to Montenegro must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours, or better to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated 7 days before their flight.



Russia has now expanded its list of countries for international tourism. Travelers going to Russia must provide a printed copy of their negative Covid-19 PCR test result that is issued 3 days before arrival. Quarantine is required only if a passenger has any symptoms of Covid-19.



International travelers are welcome to visit Turkey except for travelers from Brazil and South Africa. Travelers must provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours and Turkey Entrance Form before their departure.

Iceland (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


From April 6, Iceland accepting travelers from any other countries if they can provide a full vaccination certificate. Travelers who need to be vaccinated using a vaccine authorized by European Medicines Agency (EMA) will still need to undergo a free Covid-19 PCR test upon arrival and needs to be quarantined at their accommodation until the result and it make take 5 to 6 hours, but it can also take up to 24 hours. Travelers need to complete a pre-registration form.

Spain (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


Spain is accepting travelers that are fully vaccinated around the world. Negative Covid-19 test is also a requirement that is taken 72 hours before their arrival. Travelers need to complete a health control form within 48 hours before their departure. QR code will be generated after completing the form and the QR Code will be shown before boarding, and also to health control check upon arrival in Spain.



Travelers must provide a valid vaccination certificate who is the issuer and the batch number of the vaccine. The certificate must be in English, Estonian, or Russian. Please note that no more than six months can have passed since vaccination has been completed.

Phuket Thailand (Vaccinated Travelers Only)


From July 1, travelers can visit Thailand and enjoy quarantine-free travel, if they provide proof of their 1st and 2nd dose of vaccine in the origin country before traveling to Phuket. Visitors should provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure, must obtain a certificate of entry, and have valid Covid travel insurance with a minimum policy of $100,000.



Kenya permitted travelers to enter their country without undergoing quarantine since August 1, 2020. The government has provided a list of countries that are exempted from quarantine which includes countries from GCC. Travelers must provide proof of Covid-19 negative certificate, taken within 96 hours. Travelers going to Kenya can also expect health screenings at the airport.



Before traveling to Tunisia travelers must complete a health declaration form online and provide a negative Covid19-PCR test performed no more than 72 hours before departure. Children under 12 are exempted from the covid test. Travelers are required to download the Tunisia tracking application.



Travelers going to Tanzania must complete a Traveler Surveillance Form before arrival and present a negative Covid-19 PCR test certificate taken not more than 72 hours before arrival in Tanzania. All passengers are required to take the rapid Covid-19 test on their arrival at their own expense.

United States


The USA began to reopen for international travelers with their fast vaccine rollout, but each state has different rules to follow. Visitors that come from countries that are not listed in Blanked Ban can travel in the USA. Travelers from UK, EU, China, Iran, Brazil, India, and South Africa are not allowed to enter the USA since they are on the Blanket Ban List. Fully vaccinated travelers are only allowed to enter the USA, and they must also undergo a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours. Travelers will also undergo a viral test 3 and 5 between their visits.



The Bahamas encouraging travelers to explore the 16 best islands. There are no restrictions to anyone who wants to travel, but travelers must provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 5 days of departure and must also apply for a health visa no longer than 48 hours before departure. A Health visa is required for Covid-19 cover, and for travelers that will stay for 5 days or more health visa will cover the cost of a rapid antigen test. Health visa prices range from $40 to $80 depending on how long you will stay in the Bahamas. Children below the age of 10 do not need to take the Covid-19 PCR test before travel, and the children under 18 should have a profile under the account of their parents for a health visa.



Fully vaccinated travelers who received their vaccine two weeks prior with an official vaccine card can enter Belize. Those who cannot provide proof are asked to provide a negative Covid-19 test (PCR test must be taken within 96 hours before traveling; Rapid Antigen and similar other tests must be taken within 48 hours) or take a test upon arrival at the airport. Children below the age of 5 are exempted from testing.

Costa Rica


Travelers going to Costa Rica do not need to undergo a quarantine, but your need to provide a negative Covid-19 test result. Travelers are also required to complete a digital health pass 48 hours before traveling to Costa Rica and must-have travel insurance covering their accommodation and expenses due to Covid-19.



Travelers all over the world are welcome to visit Lebanon and are exempted from quarantine, and travelers who are fully vaccinated have no longer need a negative PCR test announced by the health minister.

United Arab Emirates


Travelers going to Dubai are allowed to enter with no-arrival quarantine but they should be able to meet requirements. All travelers must have a valid insurance policy and have a health declaration form before takeoff. All passengers will undergo health screening, with mandatory quarantine if they are imposed and has a positive Covid-19.

Take note: Quarantine requirements will depend on each Emirates.



Travelers who are arriving from all destinations going to Jordan are required to provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 120 hours and undergo another Covide-19 PCR test on arrival in Jordan. Passengers are required to pay their Covid test priced at $40 and fill a health form before traveling. Two negative test results from the covid test are required to bypass quarantine.
